We are thrilled to be the "New Kids on the Block" at 440 E. State Street in Salem. A tremendous THANK YOU! to the local vendors, neighbors, friends, Kent State students, and CCESC staff who have put in extra effort to make our Grand Opening a success!
Our students have been spending several hours a day learning how to price and inventory items, run the regiser, stock shelves, and keep our store looking great! All that is missing is YOU! Please stop by to meet and talk with our students, tour the building, and find some great gifts and art, all produced by local artisans and vendors. Your patronage of our store will help our students with disabilities reach their potential in the world of work, and help keep local entrepreneurs in business. We have a great variety of items, including personal care, books, decor, specialty food items, cards, baby and American Girl clothes, dolls, glassware and beautiful artworks. We will run weekly features about our great vendors starting in January, so stay tuned! Long-time Salem residents can also find treasures from the Salem Historical Society, including 2017 Calendars, and books from local authors. We also have coasters with beautiful historic prints courtesy of Wayne Maris. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
